Mr.
Bergquist utilizes over 21 years of litigation experience to provide
aggressive, cost-effective representation for his clients using all avenues
including negotiation, alternative dispute resolution and the courts.
Mr.
Bergquist earned his Doctor Of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon
School of Law in 1984 and his Bachelor of Science degree with majors in
Political Science, Economics and Public Policy from Willamette University in
1980. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1984 and the California Bar in
1985. He has conducted jury and non-jury trials before all levels of the
California courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the
Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California.
Mr.
Bergquist is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association and serves as
an Arbitrator and Mediator for the Contra Costa Superior Courts. He has also
served as a public member of the Oregon Employment Training Commission, City of
Walnut Creek Transportation Commission and as a pro bono attorney for the
Battered Womens Alternative program.
